Epic Games
Sadly at this point, the Epic Games Launcher does not allow profile picture changes. Even though their roadmap suggests that adding profiles and avatar features is something they are going to be working on, it’s unclear when this will happen. For now, the only workaround that Rocket League players on Epic Games can use is changing their profile picture using bakkesmod. For the unaware, bakkesmod is a training utility that lets Rocket League users on Epic Games access additional features like workshop maps and client-side item mods.Do note that even changing your profile pic with bakkesmod will only enable you to see the avatar / profile picture since the entire setup is built to be client-side only. Here are the steps to change your profile picture via bakkesmod on Epic Games Launcher:
Install bakkesmod, here’s a video that will show you how or you can even find instructions on the download page.
Now run bakkesmod and Rocket League, then in the game, press F6 to open bakkesmod’s console window.
In bakkesmod console type “plugin load acplugin” (without quotes) and hit enter, then close bakkesmod console.
Now hit F5 on your keyboard to launch Alpha Console, select the Cosmetics Tab on top, click “Open Directory” under Epic Avatar.
This should open a window to the following path .. Roaming/bakkesmod/bakkesmod/data/acplugin
Drag and drop your desired image (must be 1:1 square aspect ratio) in this folder.
Finally, head back to Alpha Console in Rocket League and click the “Reload Image” button under Epic Avatar to display your image.
